Partner-Initiated Proposals
An MSI or ERI may collaborate with the NORDP Consultants Program to submit an external application that would support NORDP Consultants' engagement. If awarded, the institution is then paired with NORDP Consultants and/or mentors to conduct strategic planning and implement the desired research development activities.

Secure external funding together through an application initiated by an interested MSI or ERI.

Determined by the funding mechanism and outcome.
Funding
If the application is funded, the external support covers the desired consulting services.
Eligibility
Minority-Serving Institutions – An IHE established with the explicit mission to serve a historically excluded student population (i.e. mission based MSI) or an IHE that enroll a significant percentage of underrepresented minority students as defined by the U.S. Department of Education. (i.e. enrollment based MSI) Emerging Research Institution – An IHE with less than $50,000,000 in federal research expenditures.
Selection
The NORDP Consultants Program will determine the fit and capacity to support these collaborations.
